Metal Applications

The metalworking industry prepares metals and manufactures products from jewellery to airplanes in three application categories 1) wet and dry machining, 2) mechanical surface cleaning and finishing, and 3) welding, cutting, and thermal spraying. These metalworking applications often generate submicron, respirable mist or particulate.
